Means to ThriveCounseling Services

Our services

Counseling & support, explained clearly.

Our qualified team offers counseling, family support and resource coordination within each professional’s scope of practice. Together, we explore your needs and identify appropriate support. Contact us to confirm availability, fees and eligibility.

Trauma-informed & trauma-focused care

The right support, from the right professional.

Trauma-informed services

Our qualified staff recognize how trauma can affect well-being, relationships and access to support. Safety, trust, respect, choice and individualized pacing guide our work. You decide what you are ready to share.

Trauma-focused therapeutic services

Our team includes qualified professionals with social work and related service backgrounds who support trauma-focused approaches within their qualifications and scopes of practice. Therapeutic services are delivered only by appropriately qualified professionals; a BSW or MSW degree alone does not establish independent clinical licensure.

Contact us to confirm the available service, the delivering professional’s qualifications and whether care is provided directly or through an external partner. Kristen Means is TF-CBT certified and an LCSW candidate.

Professional partnerships

Connected expertise. Thoughtful collaboration.

We collaborate with qualified providers and community organizations to help coordinate support around the unique needs of individuals and families.

Psychological & specialized services

Means To Thrive has qualified staff, including professionals with Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) backgrounds and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), who are equipped to provide professional, trauma-informed therapeutic services tailored to the needs of individuals and families.

Our team is committed to compassionate, person-centered, trauma-informed care that recognizes each individual’s unique experiences, strengths and needs. We work collaboratively to help individuals and families access appropriate resources, develop coping skills and build a stronger foundation for their future.

Our staff provide the services for which they hold the appropriate training and credentials. When additional specialized care is needed, we collaborate with trusted external partners who provide psychological services, assessments and other specialized care, and we help connect individuals and families with the right providers.

Community resources & continuity

Our team helps clarify needs, identify resources and coordinate next steps with appropriate providers. Partner availability, eligibility and service arrangements are confirmed with the provider.

Please note

Our services are non-emergency. Psychological evaluations, diagnostic testing, custody evaluations and medical care are not provided directly by Means To Thrive. We work collaboratively toward individualized goals; insurance coverage and eligibility for outside services are confirmed with the relevant provider. If you are in crisis, call 911 or call/text 988.
